Blue, red and purple spider veins on the face, nose, chest, and legs bother millions of people and can affect confidence and self-esteem. Spider veins (or telangiectasia) are red or purplish in color and may result from sun exposure, hormone therapy, the aging process or heredity. Fortunately, advanced laser technology now offers safe and effective treatments to rid people of their unwanted spider veins.

  1. Only takes 15-30 minutes
  2. No Down Time
  3. Low Cost

How does a laser help?

With a beam of light, the laser can deliver a prescribed dose of energy to the spider veins. The laser “selectively” coagulates the problem veins while sparing surrounding areas. After treatment, the vessel slowly and naturally disappears.

How many treatments are required?

The number of treatments required depends on the size and depth of each vein. Typically, one to two treatments are recommended and results are seen within three to four weeks.  Most people see approximately a 70% reduction with one treatment, which may be enough. Multiple treatments may be necessary for maximum long-term results.

Can we be sure that this will work on my veins?

We’ll review your medical history prior to any treatment. We may also test to determine if there are any underlying venous problems.  This is something that must be determined with each patient individually, but the majority of patients will benefit from this treatment.

Is this treatment difficult?

No. This non-invasive treatment process takes between 15 to 30 minutes, depending on your situation. Most patients report moderate but brief discomfort, and some experience a mild burning sensation when the laser pulses.

What is After Care like?

You may be asked to wear support hosiery or heavy stockings to keep pressure on the treated veins and keep them closed. Bruises will disappear after the first week.  We ask you to avoid hot baths and strenuous exercises but otherwise, you can resume normal activities immediately.
