The Thermo-Lo is not a needle or a laser, but can go where many lasers can’t! It is a minimally invasive procedure that uses a minor current that produces electricity to create heat. The thin probe is run just over or tapped to the surface layer of the skin, just skimming the surface of the epidermis and not penetrating into the deeper layers of the skin. This process then dehydrates the problem area which causes the body to exfoliate the dried skin over the course of a few days. Thermo-Lo treats various skin conditions, including rosacea and spider veins, milia, skin tags, pigmented lesions (sun/age spots), cherry hemangiomas, sebaceous hyperplasia and cholesterol deposits.
