We are excited to announce the introduction of a new procedure to Colorado and our practice called Fractional CO2 laser eyelift (nonsurgical blepharoplasty). Fractional CO2 laser eyelift is a relatively non-invasive, painless procedure that can offer younger looking eyes after just a few treatment sessions.
This new procedure is safe and effective with minimal downtime. Fractional CO2 eyelift reduces the appearance of dark circles and wrinkles around the eyes and tightens the skin of upper and lower eyelid.
For the fractional eyelift we utilize a fractional CO2 laser UltraPulse Encore. The laser treatment Deep FX CPG (computer pattern generator) that the doctors at our laser center are using creates microscopic thermal wounds and spares surrounding tissue boosting the skins collagen production. The skin tightens up, reducing the appearance of wrinkles and skin sagging, making wide-eyed look without undergoing a traditional blepharoplasty or eyelid surgery. Each treatment will consist of a total of 5 sessions timed anywhere between 3-6 weeks apart. Treatments are very quick, only taking about 20 minutes. Before the treatment topical numbing cream is applied to the eyelids. No other anesthesia is required. Before and during the procedure protective eye shields are placed underneath the eyelid to protect eyes during the treatment. There will be little discomfort during and after the procedure since damage to skin tissue is minimal. Recovery is relatively quick and easy. Some redness and puffiness should be expected for a day or two afterward.
Although the treatment is still too new to accurately gauge long-term benefits doctors predict that results from the procedure may last as long as five years.
